Durham Police Headquarters wins ABC Carolinas Excellence in Construction 2019 Eagle Award

The ABC Carolinas Chapter Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards is a yearly competition in which general contractors and specialty contractors submit their projects for recognition. The EIC program is the premier competition within the Carolinas construction community that recognizes outstanding projects ABC members have built.

The City of Durham Police Headquarters Complex won the Eagle Award (Commercial over $50 million category) at the 2019 Awards Gala hosted by ABC Carolinas in Charlotte. The Eagle Award is the highest honor for the top project in each category, with winners receiving a specially designed eagle sculpture. The team was well represented at the gala by the Owner, City of Durham, the build team of LeChase Construction | Callis Contractors, and designer O’Brien Atkins Associates, PA.
