Infosys Technology and Innovation Center Fitup – Raleigh

Infosys is an India-based company which operates in 45 countries. After a very competitive, national site selection process, it selected Raleigh for this Technology and Innovation Hub. Infosys is leasing 2 floors in a new, shell building proximate to the Brier Creek work/live/play developments. In Raleigh, Infosys specializes in financial services, high-tech manufacturing, cybersecurity, open source and data and analytics.

O’Brien Atkins was retained for the interior fitup of this space and successfully delivered it under a very tight timeframe. The design creates an open, collaborative environment for as many as 500 innovation engineers. It features a variety of teaming and work environments to facilitate diverse employee workstyles and project needs. Openness, natural light, and exterior views are available throughout the space. All support the recruitment and retention of top flight talent.

Planning for flexibility with furniture and electrical systems, mobility and collaboration were all key to the design. “Neighborhoods,” or zones, for the agile workers offer choices for heads-down work, collaborative teaming areas, and multi-functional meeting spaces. Writeable surfaces in every room help staff capture ideas in the moment.

Amenity spaces are a town hall type café/kitchen, an open theater in the round, and full size chessboard, to name a few, throughout the office to spark creativity and thinking outside the box.
